Went to Puerto again today. All the fab pictures are now up in the entrance to our lovely showbar.

So many people have been to se us, wishing us good luck with the show and the bar. It is very gratifying. I don't think people are quite sure what the bar is all about. Some have decided that we are a Gay Bar ...... WRONG! The Majestic is a place for anyone who wants to be entertained ... free of charge, with a spectacular show.

Our drinks will not be overpriced and there is no door entry fee.

Just over two weeks to opening night ... How Exciting!

Oh my GOD!

So much to do and so little time. Still a few frocks to make and lots of props to buy.
Mind you .... John and Barry love shopping, so buying the props won't be a problem.

The website has now gone live again! Check out the fab photos on the fan page!

There is more work to do at the entrance of the bar, so that is our priority on Wednesday. John and Barry are going up to the Bar early in the morning and we're just going to get on with it. Then it's back to the south as Bitter and Twisted have a show to perform on wednesday nights!

The business cards should be ready by tomorrow and the leaflets by the end of the week.

We still need the "Shop Front" putting up!

On top of that, John is moving house and we are all working in our usual jobs too....... No rest for the wicked!

New Publicity Photos.

We were up at the bar all weekend. Sweating it out in heavy makeup and having some photos taken for publicity.

How nice of Val Richardson to come and visit us. Also Angela and Steve popped in from Music FM. The local people are showing lots of interest too.

Lots more work was done by us all. Neil is a dab hand as a do it yourself man.

Getting the entrance right!

Well, it's a sweltering day and I'm dripping all over (Well nearly all over). I've been preparing the publicity stuff for the entrance.

This weekend, we'll be in Puerto de la Cruz putting the last touches to the decor in the entrance and Barry and I will be putting on the make-up so that we can get some publicity shots done. We really need to start getting the advertising out next week.

The entrance is going to show some of the reviews and comments that have appeared in the press, both here and in the UK about Bitter and Twisted, to give people a taste of what the shows are all about. After all we are new to the people in the north of Tenerife.

We also need to start rehearsals too, there are so many new numbers going into the show over the next few weeks.

Neil is sorting out all the Bar Stock and Ronmel is dealing will administration and publicity. It's great being part of a team again .........

GIANT OIL PAINTINGS OF FAMOUS FIGURES

Here are two of the gigantic oil paintings that have been specially commisioned for "The Majestic". They are as camp as a row of pink frilly tents and we feel sure that the customers will love them.

These paintings are exclusive to us. There are more, you won't be able to miss them when you visit.

Crikey ..... we're so busy.

The costumes are looking fabulous and the Ideas are flowing.
We've visted the bar a few times now and most of the paperwork is now in place.
Our opening plans still figure around August though, because of the enormous number of rehearsals we have to do.

Hi Everybody, welcome to our blog. We'll keep you up to date here with everything that is going on in The Majestic.
We want you to contribute to this blog and look forward to hearing from you.
At the time of writing this, we are all very busy getting things ready for our opening in about 5 weeks time.
We have so much to do before we can open the doors. Costumes to finish making, Rehearsals, Stock for the Bar to buy and all the legal paperwork to sort out.
It's a very exciting time for us all and we hope that you will all enjoy the great shows that we are putting together for you. There will be nothing else like it in Tenerife.
Anyway, I'm going back to the sewing machine, so we'll chat soon.
